Start at PSU Millar Library.
R on Hall St, cross park blocks and Broadway Ave and continue on Hall St.
5th Avenue Cinema, located between 5th and 6th (Ondine building) - Free movies for PSU Students. http://www.fifthavenuecinema.groups.pdx.edu/
Cut through UCB parking garage, ride down the ramp to the Bike Co-op.
PSU Bicycle Co-Op. Small annual membership gets you access to tools, mechanic help, and covered secure parking. http://bikeshop.pdx.edu/
Exit Bike Co-op, L on Harrison St.
R on SW 6th.
Just past Montgomery, turn R and ride down the ramp into the Urban Plaza.
PSU Transportation Information Center (next to Rice Junkies). Pick up bike and transit maps as well as TriMet passes or tickets. Also try out bus bike rack here.
East on Montgomery; Caution: Multiple train tracks in road.
L on SW 4th.
R on Madison St.
Watch for traffic and get on multi-use path on right (south) side of bridge.
Middle of Hawthorne Bridge - enjoy the view and watch for pedestrians.
Pass the offramp to the Eastside Esplanade on the right and then stay to the left side of the multi use path as it exits onto the street.
Clever Cycles and Lucky Labrador Brew Pub - SE 9th and Hawthorne Blvd. Then continue east on Hawthorne.
R on SE Ladd Ave.
R at Ladd Circle.
Palio Dessert and Espresso House at Ladd Circle.
Ladds Circles and Squares Park
R turn off Ladds Circle, onto Harrison. R turn onto Cypress Ave.
L turn onto Harrison St (follow the edge of the square park).
Stay to the right on SE Harrison St.
Cross 20th through gaps in concrete barrier; continue straight on Harrison.
Harrison St becomes Lincoln St.
Cross 39th Ave at the light.
L turn onto 41st Ave.
L turn onto Hawthorne Blvd.
Check out the Hawthorne District (between 30th and 42nd)
R on 34th
Sunnyside School, 34th and Yamhill.
L on Morrison St
R on 33rd Ave
Laurelhurst Park
Turn L onto SE Ankeny Bike Boulevard
Citybikes SE 19th and Ankeny - worker owned bike shop with new and used parts & bikes.
R turn onto 12th.
Cross SE Sandy Blvd, continue on 12th. Caution: difficult intersection.
L on Lloyd Blvd.
Continue on Lloyd. (Or, to go to the Lloyd Center, turn R on 11th, cross the MAX tracks at NE Holladay St, and go one more block to NE Multnomah St).
Just past MLK Blvd, get in left turn lane.
L turn off Lloyd and onto sidewalk on left side of street.
Turn L towards the Eastside Esplanade and the Steel Bridge. (To go to the Rose Garden Arena, continue along sidewalk to the 'scramble' signal at Lloyd Blvd and Oregon St, then continue N on Lloyd).
Take the Steel bridge west across the Willamette river. (Or to go to the Hawthorne bridge, turn sharp left at bottom of ramp and travel 1.5 mi south on the Esplanade.)
Leave Waterfront Park, cross Naito and travel west on NW Couch St.
L turn on 3rd Ave.
Enjoy Voodoo Donuts at 3rd and Ankeny.
R turn onto Morrison.
Pass Pioneer Square Park at SW Morrison and 6th. Nearby: Pioneer Courthouse and Pioneer Mall.
Continue on Morrison past 9th. (Or, if going to PSU, turn L on 9th.)
10th and Morrison. Caution: tracks. Nearby: Multnomah County Central Library at 10th and Yamhill (one block south).
11th and Morrison. The nearby streetcar goes south on 11th to PSU. The streetcar on 10th goes north towards the Pearl district in NW Portland.
18th and Yamhill. Home games here at PGE park are free to PSU students (get tickets at the Smith Union tickets window).
18th and Salmon St. Lincoln High School's field is visible from here. Lincoln High School moved to its current location in 1952.
18th and Jefferson St. Nearby: The Hoff (cafe) at 19th and Jefferson.
Cross MAX tracks and head East on Columbia St.
R turn on 18th Ave. Use a low gear; steep hill.
L turn onto path along Hwy 26.
L turn onto SW Montgomery St. Caution: traffic.
Cross SW 12th Ave and enter PSU campus.
R on Park Ave.
End at SW Park Ave and Harrison St (PSU Millar Library).
