Harrison Grade loop

From Sebastapol, the route shows a path headed north on 116. Better is to take the Rails to Trails bike path from the Analy school This goes all the way to Green Valley School. Left here, then a rolling net uphill to Harrison Grade Road, which is essentially a continuation of Green Valley (with Green Valley itself turning to the right). Harrison Grade climbs steeply, but it's so scenic that the effort is very worthwhile. There's a few false summits, but when you reach Stoetz Lane, from where Harrison Grade continues to the left, you're basically done. Harrison then descends to Dupont, where it turns left and continues on to Grafton Road. Tanuda Road, near this intersection, provides a small shortcut. Left on Grafton and you follow the "TT" signs back to Analy School: "TT" is short for "Terrible Two", an extremely challenging double century organized by the Santa Rosa Cycling Club the weekend of each summer solstice. Overall, this ride is extremely scenic, and Harrison Grade provides a nice little challenge to make things interesting. Add in the bike path, and the marked path on the return, and it's highly recommended.by djconnel
