The way points of this bicycle route:
Start at carpark by New World Supermarket
Take extra care on the short stretch of road on State Highway 1 to the next turnoff.
Turn first right after crossing the bridge over the Waikato River.
Option to turn right at Hetherington Road which will take you back to Huntly.
Very busy stretch of State Highway 1
The most dangerous turn on the route, you have to turn across State Highway 1 with two lanes of traffic behind you.
Another stretch of State Highway 1 to travel but a lot safer as both turning on and off the road are left turns.
Finish at carpark where you started.
