The way points of this bicycle route:
Turn left on Waterdown and go to Plains Rd
Turn left on Plains Rd E (also known as King's Hwy 2) and go to the intersection of Plains Rd e & Fairview St.
Turn left to keep following Plains Rd E as Fairview St is one way. Go to Maple Ave
Turn right on Maple Ave and follow it to Lakeshore Rd. Cros
Cross the intersection and the start of the Hamilton Waterfront trails begins.
Start following the Waterfront trail across the lake and continuing to Confederation Park
At this point you go under a lift bridge and come around to the top of it where you cross the bridge
Once at Confederation Park the trail will exit at Confederation Dr. Follow Confederation Dr to Grays Rd
Turn right on Grays Rd and go to Barton St E
Turn right on barton St E and go to Red Hill Valley Pkwy. While staying on Barton, cross over Red Hill Valley Pkwy.
The trail starts across the street just south of you.
Cross Queenston Rd and continue following the trail
Cross King St E and continue following the trail
Exit the trail at Mud St and take Mud St to Arbour St.
The start of the paved multi-use path is here across the street of Arbour St & Mud St. Before you cross, checkout Albion Falls !
The paved trail ends at Corktown Park. (Ferguson Ave S) Take Ferguson north to Main St E and catch Ferguson again a few yards to the left
At King St E catch Ferguson again a few yards to the right
At Barton go left to Mary St
Turn right at Mary St and follow Mary St all the way to Eastwood Park
Turn left on Brock St and go to John St N
Turn right on john St N and follow ot to the docks where the paved multi-use trails starts
Turn right at Guise St and go to Catherine St N
Turn left at Catherine St N and follow the paved mulit-use trail around the docks
Turn right here to enter Harbourfront Park and follow the trail along the outer perimeter of the park
When exiting the park here go right and follow the Trans Canada Trail between the waterfront and the railway to the point where the path goes under the King's Hwy 2
Before the trial turns to go under the York Blvd, take stairs going up to York Blvd and continue in the same direction. There is a bike lane on the road
Take York Blvd to "Y" intersection of Plains Rd & York Blvd
Follow the road turning to the right, this is Plains Rd W
Take Plains Rd W all the way back to Waterdown Rd
Turm left on Waterdown Rd and follow it to the GO Station (aldershot)
You are now back at Aldershot GO Station
