Watch the Car Bozos exiting the Freeway
You'll get to about 1400 ft at the top of Scripps Poway Pkwy & Rt 67.
Don't try to run the red light.

Hang a left onto Hwy 67 & aim towards Ramona
Last look at Poway from the top of the grade
In Ramona. You could cut some distance here by turning left on to Archie Moore Rd. but what fun would that be? You are just starting out.
Fill up at the store here
Fill up bottles at the store here & grab a last min snack. last best chance 'till Escondido.
Hang for the light. don't let the Sheriffs ticket you. If need be roll straight & do a U-Turn when safe & get back to Highland Valley Rd.
Watch your speed around this corner, it is sharper than you think. Also look out for sand.
See you could have cut off what a whole 1/2 mile?
Watch your speed. This is a sharp, decreasing radius curve.
Get your speed up! This section is a real blast to fly down through.

Have it all buttoned down & get ready to grab 40+ MpH. Can you get to 50?

Do give the cars a chance to pass & cross. you still have a bunch of miles to go.

Airplanes on the right, you'll be at the beach soon.
The Carl Strauss Brewery Restaurant off to the right would be a nice stop but you really want to save it till you get to the end.
El Beacho! The Mighty Pacific. Breathe deap the wonderful sea air.
Leucadia! The last bastion of SoCal beach funky. Make a left on to La Costa with care.
