Cross over A596(T) road. take care can be very busy with heavy lorries.
Follow shared use footway alongside main road
Turn right to join new section of off-road path alongside stream.
Cross new bridge over stream
Turn right up hill on bridleway
Bear left on a new section of off-road path
Rejoin bridleway which has been resurfaced.
End of off-road section - continue on-road though Flimby
Fish and Chip Shop
Bear right - before main road - to join shared use footway
Continue on shared use footway
Turn left and cross over A 596(T) road - take care busy road.
Pass under the railway using the subway
Follow surfaced off-road path through the sand hills to Maryport
Rejoin road
Join sea wall promenade
Bear right on new pathway linking to the Golf Club road
Continue north on B3500 road through Allonby. Note this section is not signed until the turning at Old Kiln. New off-road route under development.
