Welcome to Bikely, take a step by step tour of this path:
Press Start Tour - then use the navigation buttons below to move along the path.
Description on Bikely: one-way ride east along the western Connecticut coast from Byram + Greenwich to Darien, mostly avoiding higher-traffic roads, and visiting the best views of the water. Offers several options for riding to the best water views, connecting to train stations, and for avoiding riding on the route 1. Connects from route Westchester Sound Coast -- search Bikely for [lisn2].
For more info and connections see www.roberts-1.com/x/m - routeID [lisn3].
Most people will not want to ride it exactly as in the route - (though we did on one nice summer day) - but it's easy to see how to skip the parts you don't want to try.
Detailed labels on points form a cue sheet (click on Show, select Cue Sheet).
Positions of points have been tweaked and partly tested for GPS navigation in the East-bound direction.
We've only ridden most of this route once so far, so it might have some problems or mistakes -- and it has not checked by us since 2009.
