Goulburn to Canberra

From Train Station to Train Station. I drew this up with an idea to visit a friend in Canberra, but it might be better to pay the money for Countrylink to take you to Canberra, then cycle out to Goulburn and to catch the train home. Adult Fare + bicycle on Country Sydney-Canberra is about $65, but Goulburn - Sydney is only $8 on Cityrail. Much of the Route follows the Federal Highway and the Hume Highway which has a good shoulder, but be cautious as the cars are travelling at 110kph on the road next to you. Best to have lots of hi-visibility gear and a horizontal safety flag.by hartleymartin
