The way points of this bicycle route:

Goulburn

Leave cars parked near Station. Head off northeast along Sloane St to cross the Old Hume Highway on Union St and on to the Taralga Rd.

Taralga Rd

Moderate 4 km 150m climb starts.

Tarlo

Cross a willow lined river.

Tarlo

Good climb for a few kms.

Road undulates.

Strathaird Rd. Convenient spot for a break.

Gentle downhill into Taralga.

Taralga

Lunch at the Pub. Hamburgers are good. 44 km up.

Undulating road. A few steeper bits.

Steep descent into Laggan.

Laggan

Old Mill on right. Will visit the mill and do Laggan to Binda the following day.

Moderate climb out of Laggan for a couple of km then a nice roll into Crookwell on a slightly downhill road.

Crookwell

Criterion Hotel Tel 4832 1031. Old but comfortable. Chris is the Publican. Return to Goulburn via Kialla Rd and Range Rd to Mummel. Can see the wind farm by taking a ride to 3rd Creek Rd and then following Pejar Rd (gravel but ok) to the Kialla Rd.
