Golden Gate- Peak to Peak- Coal Creek

Big climbing route- over 6,000 feet! Takes at least 4 hours actual riding time, plus breaks. Plan to stop for lunch in Wondervu or Rollinsville, and don't start with fewer than five hours of daylight left unless you have headlights and tail lights. Traffic on Golden Gate Canyon can be a little heavy below the cutoffs for White Ranch and Centennial Cone but the rest of the route through the hills is pretty low traffic.
