The way points of this bicycle route:

Glenelg

Start from the "Buffalo" at Colley Reserve. Or depending on the night before, start at one of the coffee shops in Moseley Square.

Glenelg

Morphettville

Camden Park

Going along Anzac Highway, turn right onto Cross Rd. Bike lanes all the way to Urrbrae (The old Tollgate at the begining of the freeway)

Urrbrae

A slight incline leading up to the Cross Rd, Adelaide/Crafers Highway (or the Toll Gate as it is also known). Turn right onto the highway - has a bike lane for the first 100m and then turns off onto a bike path which takes you away from the highway.

Nice little climb here

Past the dog kennels

Devils Elbow

The bike path to this stage has a few small hills. Eventually the bike path will converge with the old highway which is hardly used. From here on is the fun part.

Eagle on the Hill

Past the old, soon to be demolished Eagle on the Hill pub. Not a bad view 300m further on.

Crafers

The bike track separates from the old highway a few km's before Crafers. Following it all the way will take you to Mt St, Crafers (zoom in to see). Once on Mt St, turn left onto Shurdington Rd

Crafers

Left on to Blackburn Drive

Mt Lofty

Following Summit Rd will take to Mount Lofty - time for a coffee and a biscuit... and of course the major attraction for visitors to Adelaide - the scenic view of Adelaide and surrounding plains.

Mt Lofty Lookout
