The way points of this bicycle route:

Eastern Beach

North Geelong

Take the bike path along this section here. Watch out for cars exiting entering the Shell Service Station!

North Shore

Welcome to Geelong's industrial heart! The view may be great looking back at Geelong but watch out for the heavy traffic and the less than wonderful smells.

The Shell Refinery is on your left - kind of hard not to notice really :)

You can take a right hand turn here and go past Geelong Grammer School (one of it not the most expensive private school in the country) and then take a bike track to Lara (the track can be rough in sections though).

Lara

Really just a commuter town for those people who work in Melbourne and want an extra 20mins sleep each day!

Lara Station

Well, if you are feeling tired you can always take the train.

There are a few ways to go from here but Mill Rd is the most direct. The road surface gets narrow so make sure you are aware of what traffic is in front of you and also coming up behind.

Little River

Beware of the bridge - The surface is fine but it is quite narrow.

Again, if you are tired you can always catch the train from the Little River Station! Keep in mind though that not all trains stop here.

Look out for low flying ultralights a little bit further up on your left (especially about 7:30am - 8:30am)

Werribee

Be cautious through the next few kms as there is a lot of traffic involved.

Melbourne CBD

You arae now outside of Southern Cross Station (formally Spencer St Station)
