The way points of this bicycle route:
Centre of City
You will need a city map to navigate in Lux
Left here to Hesperange
Steep hill down to Hesperage. Look for Alzingen signs to right
Look for road to Syren to right on main street
Track for cycles to right off Altzingen - Syren road
Take track over rail line keep going you will hit Hassel road
Straight through the village
Take signed cycle track
Take a right then a left to Ellange
Easy stuff.
Long slow grind to village
On corner metalled track goes straight on. Wind machine ahead of you. This is the Jonkerwecht to Remershen
Should have wind machine to right. Moselle below. Terrassed hill of vines belows. Complex here - long set of steps down (if you find them) or switch back on tracks down to bottom. All tracks are metalled.
You got there. Turn right for Schegen
Under motorway to Schengen
This is where the open border agreement for Germany, France, Lux, Belgium and Holland was signed. Now over the bridge into Germany - no passport needed
Take immediate left onto river path
Keep pedalling - its flat the river is there to your left, the path surface is great...
Where Luxembourgoisie like to hang out
You wont get lost - just keep going.

Ferry across the Moselle to Wasserbillig. Quaint and ein euro zwanzig (Euro1.20)

Take the easy way back to Lux. Trains at 27 minutes past the hour. 3 carnet tickets or Euro 4.50. End of a great few hours.
