<----LEFT to remain on Rt. 144. The road ahead merges with I-70.
<----LEFT @ traffic signal at MAIN St. [Rt. 808].
RIGHT----> @ FLOWER Ave.
<----LEFT @ MERRIDALE Blvd. (T).
RIGHT----> @ PARK Ave. (T).
RIGHT----> @ HOODS MILL Rd. (T), then make first <LEFT @ FORSYTH Rd.
RIGHT----> @ OLD FREDERICK Rd.
<----LEFT @ OLD FREDERICK Rd., about a mile past U.S. Rt. 29. Caution! Steep curving descent about a mile ahead. SLOW!
^ Bear left and continue on HOLLOFIELD Rd.
RIGHT----> @ DOGWOOD Rd. (T).
About a quarter mile past the overpass just past Pleasant St. (a very narrow street), the Gwynns Falls Trail starts at WILLIAMS St. The Trail is a paved off-road trail on the northern side of the road.
Turn RIGHT---> @ unmarked T, then <----LEFT past the next bridge. Free maps are in a mailbox on the large display board. There is a restroom at this parking area.
