R. onto B180 Pyrenees Hwy.
Bakery Stop. Last chance to pick up food & drink for lunch till Hepburn Springs (25+km away). Or lunch at Crown Hotel across street or Railway Hotel across the river.
Loddon River
L. onto Daylesford Newstead Rd. Railway Hotel 200m down and to the right on Creswick Newstead Rd.
R. over rail line and up the short hill

Wave to Nik's friends
Option to veer L. here up Mill St to Mt Franklin Winery (300m) or head R. down Newstead-Hepburn Rd directly to Hepburn Springs.
R. at top of hill
Mt Franklin Winery. Bicycle friendly. Nice easy drinking style wines and genial host.
L. out of winery gate then R. back onto Highway
L. at Junction into Newstead Hepburn Rd
L. at T into Hepburn Springs Rd. Note Historic Hepburn Springs Bathouse/Spa 300m to Left.
Continue straight up through main shopping strip
Caravan Park at top of steep hill on the Ballan Road heading out of town. (Take a taxi to dinner!)
