I used this route a few years ago. M-52 has a large paved shoulder! M-43 (Gd. River) was fine. The only bad part is a stretch of N. Territorial Road. Be conscious of blind spots when going around curves/hills. Go against traffic when traffic coming from behind can't see you.by gregdetroy
