The way points of this bicycle route:
Starting to Duppas Hill.
Opposite Duppas Hill take the footpath down to Violet Lane.
Turn right on to Violet Lane.
At Denning Ave cross straight over and continue along Violet Lane to the end.
Turn left on to Goodwin Road and bear right.
Turn right on to Waddon Way and follow to the end.
At Purley Way cross straight over and continue along Imperial Way.
When Imperial Way bears right turn left. Follow all the way up to Croydon Airport.
Ride on to Croydon Airport and bear left.
Follow the paths over to the far side of Croydon Airport, past the allotments up to Apeldoom Drive.
Turn left into Apeldoom Drive.
Turn right on to Foresters Drive.
Take the first left on to Timberslip Drive.
Take the first left on to Ambrey Way.
Turn right at the end of Ambrey Way on to Great Woodcote Park.
Take the 2nd left into Woodcote Drive.
Take the first right into Green Lane.
At the end of Green Lane turn left onto Woodcote Road. This is a pretty busy main road.
At the roundabout (again very busy) turn right into Little Woodcote Lane. Keep going past the houses on the left.
Just past the last house on the left you'll see the start of a dirt path. Dive up that but don't go in too hard as it winds through trees and crosses various driveways.
At the end of the dirt path keep going on the pavement.
When you come out opposite the end of Woodmansterne Road take a left up the marked bridleway. Keep your eyes open as the entrance to the path is a bit difficult to see.
At the end of the bridle path drop on to Grove Lane.
Take the first right and at the end of the road keep going down the bridle path.
Watch out at the end of the path that you don't end up straight out in the road as there are often fast moving cars down there. At this point we normally turn round and go back to Oak's Park.
At the bottom of the bridle way turn left. Watch out for the road as it's pretty close to the end of the bridle way.
Cross Carshalton Road and carry on up the bridle way.
At the end of the bridle way cross Croydon Lane at the lights, go over the bridle way and through the gate into Oaks Park.
When you get into the park follow the path round to the left and up to the carpark. Then keep bearing left back to the entrance to the car park.
At the entrance to Oaks Park take the path on the left. This goes round to the left and becomes a bridle way. On the first corner there are some great roots on the right hand side of the path (right on the bend) which are fun if you can get over them, otherwise stay on the left hand side and just go round them.
After you cross where you entered the park there is a fork in the trail (keep your eyes open after dark). Take the left hand fork and keep going till you get to the end. Do watch out for serious mud if you've had rain in the last week. Otherwise the middle of the bridle way is chewed up earth but there are some fast hard sections on the side. I love this path.
At the bottom of the trail turn left go down to the road.
Turn right on to Woodmansterne Road (it's fairly busy).
Almost immediately take the first left (watch the drain at the side of the road) and head up Oaks Track. Lovely scenery and some really high speed humps which are great for jumping over if you're going the other way.
When you get to the end turn left into Woodmansterne Lane
At the end turn right on to Woodcote Road.
Take the first left followed by and immediate right to get into The Drive and follow that right up the hill.
Take the second right into Ridge Park.
Turn left into The Ridge.
Take the third right into Church Road.
At the end of Church Road turn left into Peaks Hill.
At the end of Peaks Hill turn left on to Plough Lane (fairly busy road) and then take an immediate right into Hillcrest Road.
At the end of Hillcrest Road turn left into Highfield Road/Edgehill Road.
At the lights with Purley Way go straight across.
At the roundabout with Pampisford Road go straight across (if you want to head home more quickly you can turn left and just head straight down Pampisford Road).
When you get to the sharp right turn after the roundabout carry straight on into the bridleway that runs down parallel to Pampisford Road and follow that to the bottom (Hailing Grove).
When you get to the hard left on gravel that's the sign that you're at Hailing Grove.
Turn left on to Tirlmont Road opposite the entrance to Hailing Park.
Turn left at the end.
When you get to the end of St Augustine's Ave turn right on to Pampisford Road and head down the hill.
Straight on at the first round about.
Turn left on to Warham Road at the second roundabout.
Take the first right into Violet Lane.
Opposite the post box on the right turn left up the footpath.
Cross Hillside Road into Duppas Hill Park
Back where you started out

From Duppas Hill in Croydon round Oaks Park with a detour to Woodmansterne. It's a good mix of mostly quiet on road and off road.
I've added a lot of notes to the Cue Sheet.
