The way points of this bicycle route:
Welcome to Bikely, take a step by step tour of this path:
Press Start Tour - then use the navigation buttons below to move along the path.
A long training ride on some of my favourite roads. I usually ride
this clockwise Starts and finishes in Dunfermline. About 132 miles
long, Best to head off early ie 6:00am or so to get through Callander
and Blair Drummond before all the Tourist coaches and the like clog
up the roads.
The route shown uses the A road on the north side of Loch Earn but
for an alternative and more scenic route albeit slower road take the
road on the South side of Loch Earn which passes the CTC Hut.
In Creiff on the main High Street there are a couple of Tea Shops for
a coffee and a bun, it's a slight detour of the actual route shown.
The section after Gleneagles can be quite exposed if there is a wind
up. As there is an Equestrian centre near Gleneagles so watch out for
Horses. Also watch out for golf balls when passing through Gleneagles!
