The way points of this bicycle route:

Somerville

Start at the corner of Highland Ave. and Lowell St.

Turn right onto Medford St.

Turn left onto Norwood Ave.

Turn right onto Broadway. You're now approaching the peek of Winter Hill.

You're at the top of Winter Hill! It's all downhill from here.

Cross Route 28 (aka McGrath Highway). There's a Duncan Donuts on the corner here if you're hungry.

Turn left to go under I93.

Cross Mystic Ave. and continue on Assembly Square Dr.

You're now passing behind Circuit City and Home Depot.

Turn Right on Foley St.

Biking through the parking lot here you'll bike over some old, partially paved over rail lines.

Turn right at the Winter Hill Yacht Club and go under the railroad bridge.

This is Draw 7 Park. There's a bike path leading away from here along the Mystic River, but that's for some other day.

Look, boats!

Turn left onto Assembly Square Dr.

Back under I93

Turn left onto Broadway.

Turn left onto Kensington.

Here we are at Stop and Shop! You can grab coffee and a donut at the in-store Duncan Donuts, or just wander the aisles and feel overwhelmed by it all.

Turn right out of the parking lot onto Blakeley Ave.

Turn left onto Route 2.

Turn right onto Broadway.

Turn left onto School St.

Turn right onto Medford St.

Turn left onto Central St.

Turn right onto Highland. OMG, more donuts!

Finish back where you started.
