Downtown (South Park/Midcity) to Santa Monica

The way points of this bicycle route:

We start on Pico, but it could easily be Venice or Olympic, which both have wider clearances

San Vicente is the King of diagonal streets

Take a nice, easy 15 degree left onto Wilshire

Beverly Hills: they aren't bike friendly, but they have the only smooth section of Wilshire

Switch to Santa Monica BL, more diagonal goodness. Construction actually provides more bike space

If you were on Wilshire, you'd be going over hills and hitting potholes right now
