The way points of this bicycle route:
Turn right onto the sidewalk, then cross the street at the marked crossing, make a right on the opposite sidewalk, and then make a quick left into a paved alley way
Go into the park, cross the bridge
Cross the street at the marked crossing.
Look for a bridge on your right and use it to cross the freeway
Exit the path that follows the freeway and make a u turn to head towards loftus street
Look for a bike path on the south side of the street, right after a car park

Nice, relatively easy route to get to the Esplanade from Doubleview. Most of the route had little to no car traffic
