The way points of this bicycle route:
FGP, MTB Dirt Crits http://www.fullgaspromotions.com.au/new/dirtcrits.html , start/finish area under BBQ shelter. Every Thursday night, racing starts 6:30pm. Course direction alternates, some additions/reductions to the course pending conditions etc.
open two-track slight rise, fast going.
Open two-track, a dip between 2 descents, fast going.
Open two track top of a slight rise.
Narrow concrete bridge.
Disused rail-line crossing. Can be tricky approaching from the west with the loose rocky siding.
Open single track
Tight singletrack.
open singletrack / two track along the rail line.
tight squeeze between the end of a fence line & the rail line.
Onto the sealed pathway for a bit.
open singletrack, with a little dodge through a clump of tea trees.
Cross the sealed path.
Tight singletrack through the trees.
Singletrack, over the mound near the electrical pylon.
Singletrack snakes through low grasses, but rocks & stumps hide just off your line.
Dip through an irrigation/drainage ditch. Don't ask about the smell around here, you most likley don't want to know.
open two track, a short blast between singletracks, great place to make that pass.
Singletrack. Lumpy, bumpy. Watch for little stumps & rocks that come outa nowhere. This bit is a laugh when it's muddy.
Singletrack. Some nice little berms here. You can get some good pace if you get it wired.
Open two track. Opportunity to get into that big chainwheel to blast up to the next bit of singletrack.
Singletrack, in & out of the trees, up & down a little gully.
Singletrack. This bit can get muddy. Pallets are sometimes used to get through the worst of it, but riding over wet wooden pallets can be a problem in itself.
Fast open singletrack.
A little rise into some bushes, but it's fast with the momentum fro mthe previous bit, or - going the other way - it's a slight desent.
Open singletrack. Through the flagpoles.
Tight singletrack through the trees.
Onto the sealed path alongside the carpark.
Tight singletrack. Recently the trees have been knocked down at this spot, but with some tight off camber corners it's still tricky.
Out between the trees , cross the path with the start finish in sight.
