The way points of this bicycle route:
Start at the chateau and exit
TL at TJ, along N937, towards Ciney
TR at XR, SP Achene. along N936. (it's slightly safer to TR into the small car park just after the station and this will filter into this road, avoiding the junction. Climb towards Achene
Over N97
Achene has little in it
Pass over A4/E411
TL at TJ, along N910, SP Celles. Climb then a long descent to Celles
In Celles, next to the German tank (yes really) TR at XR, SP Dinant and climb (garage opposite junction)
Just before going under the major road (N97), TL, SP Dehance. This is a nice quiet road parallel to the N97
Through Drehance and descend to Anseremme
TR at TJ when you reach the River Meuse. A cycleway appears within 100 metres on the LHS. Take this, it's OK
Shaded area RHS just past cafe and a toilet is here too (money needed) After this the path opens up and there are many riverside bars
On the RHS there is an arch that leads through to the town hall. It's about 120 metres before te bridge and looks old (there's a toilet LHS in the arch, locked) Go through this to the one way street Rue Grand
TL at TJ along Rue Grand, Town Hall LHS, pass shops either side
Through the town square, cathedral RHS and more cafes
Besr left and back along RHS of river
TR, SP Purnode (and just about everywhere else in Belgium) This is a very steep climb out of Dinant
TL, SP Purnode 5, quarry entrance LHS, continue climbing but much more gradual now.
At the top, you will descend and climb again through a wooded area
TL at TJ, no SP
TR at TJ, along N937 towards Spontin. The Bocq brewery is opposite, go down the cobbles and the visitor centre is there. There is also a bar in Purnode
TL at TJ, SP Spontin, when another major road comes in from the right
Cafes in Spontin
Bear left and cross railway
TR, SP Ciney, along N937
Pass under E411
Climb back to Braibant
TL back to chateau
