Fun downhill to the parkway
The road follows trenches and mounds built by Confederate soldiers to defend what used to be wide open fields and are now wooded.
Nice little river access park, with a boat landing, restrooms, picnic tables, dock, and separate canoe launch onto Deep Bottom Creek.
Back into traffic.
