This is where Transit parks the unused trains for the skytrain.
Meet up with old 7-11 Bike Path.
Here is Hydro main administration office tower is. Hydro truck depot also nearby.
1st of the Skytrain station that we will be passing.
Here there is a steep downhill that bends around over a creek.

This section is slightly uphill and a bit bumpy from the roots from the trees.

Bike path returns after this point, note there is a tar factory, open during weekdays, can smell bad.

Someone made a little dirt hill for jumps, can be seen as the path bends, on right side. Have fun.

4th of the Skytrain stations.
Current construction removed the bike path, must follow pedestrian trail, use caution as people are walking around.
Exit pedestrian trail, may resume speed.
Steep down hill, must turn left at bottom of hill.

There is a hill here, you climb it and roll down to Rupert.

There is a hill here, you climb it and roll down to the next hill at Fairmount.
There is a hill here, hopfully you will have some speed from the last hill to overcome this hill and roll to Earles.

6th of the skytrain station.

Take the alley to get onto the bike path
This is a nice down hill, all the way down to Nananimo.
7th skytrain station, last passing of the skytrain. make sure you slow down before you enter this area.

Welcome to John Hendry park, there is a bike path but watch for pedestrian.

Turn right onto NW Marine Drive.
This place is great for some beach Volleyball.
Here is the long uphill part to UBC. Go at your own speed and keep hydrated.
Keep it up only halfway there.
Almost there, keep it up.
Congratution, you made it to the top. This is the hardest hill in the ride.
Turn left on to East Mall.
Turn left on to University Boulevard.
Enjoy a break for 10-20 mins under the trees of UBC. Fill yp water supply and snack up some energy.
Resume the ride along Westbrook Mall.
Follow the round-a-bout.

Be careful as lots of drivers like to test their max speed on Marine Drive, don't worry there is lots of space for cyclist.
Use caution as you will be entering residential area, traffic is down to signal lane.

This part is a bit of a uphill.
Two gulf courses side by side.
Turn right to stay with Marine Drive.

Turn right onto Templeton Street.

1st time halfway point
The end of 4 km, ready to go again.
Take a 10-20 min break, no clean water here, but snack up on some energy.
2nd time halfway point.
Finished riding Jetty pipe twice.
Turn right back onto Ferguson Road.

I think I read that this trail is 5 km long.
Vibrations will have started to hurt my lower back by now.
Finally some real roads.
While in a park, break for 10-20 mins, refresh on water and snack up energy.

Stay on road, note for traffic lights.
Take the circle.
Turn right onto Westwater Drive.
Take the turn around the complex.

Take the trail off to the right.
Trail leads back to Dyke Road.
I got lost here once, but found Dyke Road.

Turn left onto Hammersmith Gate.
Turn right onto Shell Road.
