The trail provides a beautiful ride along the Mississippi riverfront. The trail never leaves the river and travels through parks, open areas and buisiness districts. Scenic river views, abundant wildlife and urban landscapes catch your eye around every curve. The trail starts in Davenport at Credit Island Park. After circling the park the trail follows the river through some natural habitat before passing under the Centennial bridge and entering Downtown Davenpot. After leaving Downtown Davenport you pass under the Rock Island Arsenal Bridge. (You can use this bridge to connect to Illinois' Mississippi River Trail.) The trail then passes through commercial and residential areas while continuing into Bettendorf. The trail continues through Bettendorf passing under the I-74 Bridge and terminates at the Isle of Capri Casino.by bpbhorn
