This is a long hard but rewarding ride with beautiful scenery. Between Dargo and the Mount Hotham Road there is little water available apart from a welcome torrent at Mount Ewen Springs, about 25km from Dargo. Apart from that, you can get water from the bog pools on the high plain. We drank that with no ill effect. Good views from the high plains across to Mount Hotham and a great run down to Harrietville to finish off a long day.
