The way points of this bicycle route:
Begin at the old city center, in the pedestrian precinct. Proceed on Cycle Track 12 towards the Lazebnický Bridge, southwest of the city center.
Proceed across Lazebnický Bridge and continue on Cycle Track 12.
Turn left after the bridge onto Masná.
Cross small bridge to exit old city area. Continue on Cycle Track 12.
Bear right.
Cycle Track 12 crosses Route 160 and proceeds south on Rožmberská. Begin ascent out of Vltava valley as you leave Český Krumlov.
The village is to the east.
The village of Všemĕry is below. Begin an off-road section of Cycle Track 12.
Cycle Track 12 turns to the right. Proceed south.
Cycle Track 1188 towards Rožmberk nad Vltavou is on the right. Continue on Cycle Track 12
Continue on Cycle Track 12. After Hněvanov an unpaved section begins.
The trail runs briefly alongside a busy highway, Route 3 (E55).

St. Gilles' Church, in the South Bohemian Late-Gothic style, is from the 15th century.
Cycle Track 34, the Rozmberk Greenways Trail, turns right. A long distance hiking trail runs from this town all the way north to České Budějovice along the course of the Malše River.
The Church of Our Lady of Snow, a pilgrimage church built between 1653 and 1701, overlooks the village from a hillside.
The ruins of Tichá fortress are on a hill above the village.
The trail briefly runs alongside the Malše River, which forms the International border with Austria here. A footbridge crosses over to the other side. Then a climb of about 200 meters begins.
Cycle Track 34, the Rozmberk Greenways Trail, turns right.
Cycle Track 1193, for mountain bikes, provides a possible alternate route. It passes through very remote and unspoiled areas along the international border, formerly the Iron Curtain.
Turn left towards Pohorská Ves. To the right is a remote and very unspoiled mountainous area that was closed off in the Communist Era.
From this point, it is possible to take a shortcut, skipping the town of Benešov nad Černou. Both a short road route and a longer mountain bike route are available. Cycle Track 1193 is for mountain bikes. Both routes rejoin the Rozmberk Greenways Trail after Černé Údolí.
Cross bridge over the Černá river to enter the town. After the bridge, the trail turns to the right.
From this point, one can use Route 154, the highway through town, as a shortcut to Nové Hrady. The remaining 28 km of the route passes through small roads and trails in a remote and mountainous region near the Austrian Border.
Turn right.
Turn left onto Route 34.
The town is located in a saddle between three mountains. Hiking trails that start in this town allow one to climb these peaks, and provide access to several nature reserves with interpretive trails.
The trail leaves the road here and climbs a ridge.
At the top of the ridge, there is a dramatic vista to the north and west.
The trail joins a small road. Camping for Nové Hrady is available here.
