The route follows Czech Cycle Track 12 south from Cesky Krumlov, but detours onto Cycle Track 1188 towards Rozmberk nad Vltavou. Bad Leonfelden is a old spa town north of Linz, and this route is the most direct to Linz. Many sections are off road, but the majority of the route is on small scenic rural roads.
