This is another easy day of riding with a 1,500 overall descent over 113 miles. With the strong winds from the west you can pretty much coast all the way! The only special consideration for this day's riding is that a significant portion of the old Route 40 alignment is unpaved gravel road. There are plenty of small towns with generous hospitality.
