The way points of this bicycle route:
Don't get doored in the shopping zone
Nepean Hwy is quicker but the carlubbers fly along here. For the less gallant, there is an off-road bike path.
With green lights you can rocket along here.
The service road is an option, but the carlubbers are reluctant to let you back in later on.
On-road bike lane begins! Make sure you don't get doored.
We start a minor climb here. Nothing too arduous.
Careful here and keep your wits about you, because the carlubbers have to cross the bike lane to get to Queens Road. There is always a dickhead who leaves it to the last. Taxis are the worst.
Bike lane from here to the city, but it often has taxis and couriers parked on it.
This bit's fun in the AM peak. You have to move over a lane to go straight on. Carlubbers turning right from Toorak Rd jam intersection. I jump the red to get across.
Watch for carlubbers turning left.
Warning! Taxi rank!
Pretty much smooth sailing from here.
