A mainly on road route but with a short section (about 1/2 mile) of gravel cycle track to Keyhaven. I do this on a roadbike with 22mm tyres but I wouldn't use an expensive bike for obvious reasons. Take care crossing the A35 at the Cat and Fiddle as this road is very busy.by peregrinus
