The way points of this bicycle route:
It's all suburban homes and mostly quiet streets as you begin the climb...
Less and less traffic as you make it further into the suburbs - in the Fall and Spring you might even be lucky enough to catch a flock of geese who, in their migratory dealy-o, often stop at the graveyard near these railroad tracks to rest.
There's a brief stint here where you'll be going underneath I-90 and traffic is barrelling. Just stick to the curb, watch crossing the two on/off ramps and you'll be fine.
As the township's name implies, you're now at the height of your accent. It's a flat trail over to Upper Peach from here.
This is a very busy street, one of Erie's main roads, but it's also a huge downhill ride, so if you follow the rules of the road and act like a car, you should be fine and have a grand old time in the process. Also, swinging in and out of parking lots can lower your amount of street time.
You're about to head into the city - Cherry Street is a nice, not-so-heavily populated downhill.
At the time of this route's creation, the Google Map is wrong - W 38th St and E 38th street now meet (whereas they used to not).
