I call this the Clear View Orchard Ride as it goes over a hill on Barry Rd. (just West of Zimmer Rd.) that's the highest hill in Ingham County.

The hill is steeper heading eastward than westward. You can go back and forth over it for a great workout. Taking Barry Rd. from the east to west is a good challenging series of 3-4 hills w/ false tops to make it interesting (especially for those new to the route). 40 mph is attainable heading westward down the highest hill (just west of Clearview Orchard) with a big enough gear and ambition!
