This part of Freeport is narrow and has street parking in *bike lanes*. Be careful
The tracks are at a bad angle for crossing. Be careful
Bike lane disappears under freeway. Watch for impatient drivers.
Turn right on T. Quiet, wide street.
Turn left on Alhambra. Don't forget to let any cars behind you know that you are turning left.
Turn right.
Pull into the left turn lane. Watch for traffic.
Cross the American River to get to the Bike Trail. Roll down off the levee.
A little hill right here.
This is a demand light. If there are no cars going your way, push the pedestrian button
Road narrows for the next block but there is a frontage road. Cut through the break in the hedge.
