The Cinque Terre is more usually hiked that biked I understand, and one reason is probably this difficult initial climb to get to the ride road. After that, it's a gorgeous ride with panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and villages.
right around here, the climb starts getting less bad. But you've still a ways to go.
just keeping taking the road closest to the sea.
Riomaggiore is the last of the 5 cinque terre villages. Easy to throw your bike on a regional train here south to La Spezia, and then to elsewhere in Italy.
