The way points of this bicycle route:
alternative here is to continue straight roughly northeast on the S612 to Molina, then the S48 west to rejoin this route -- which is less interesting + scenic, leads to a significant tunnel on S48 and much more distance, but much less climbing.
next comes about +100 meters vertical climbing at steepness around 6-8% grade.
next comes about 100 meters vertical climb at steepness around 6-8% grade, then soon after another 50 meters at around 8-9% grade.
next the road climbs about 125 meters vertical with steepness around 9-11% grade, followed by 100 meters around 5% grade.
next the road going northeast descends about 200 meters vertical at around 6-8% grade.
alternative is to continue straight roughly west on S48, which offers a faster descent and rather scenic, but more motor traffic. The quieter road over Truden then has a descent steeper + narrower than most riders would enjoy, so I think only riders with a significant aversion to motor traffic will chose it -- many will prefer to continue on the S48, then turn before the bottom onto the road toward Egna / Neumarkt, or possibly turn off sooner higher by Montagna.
the climb southwest up from here includes about 160 meters vertical at steepness grade around 7-9%
descent west from here includes about 400 vertical meters around 12% grade.
alternative somewhere around here is to get onto the Adige bike path and go roughly southwest on that toward Lavis - (which implies not going to Tramin)

section B of Tramin - Cembra alternate loop of (hilly) 100km (62 miles). Many vineyards, some pretty villages, sweeping views across the valley.
Some much steeper climbing sections than the obvious Tramin-Cembra loop, including a section of 125 vertical meters at steepness around 9-11% grade, which is pretty steep for most riders, and a long section around 7-9% steepness.
Also the descent west from Truden is very steep, and doubt I would choose it often myself over the obvious alternative, but I've left it in the route so other riders can consider it as a possibility. Labels on route points discuss alternate routes and give steepness measures of some hills -- can read the notes on Bikely by clicking Show, then select Cue Sheet.
