The way points of this bicycle route:
Started at Bar Felix, Carcassonne (in the square) after staying the night at the Etap Hotel in the eastern outskirts of town.
Path easily ridable on touring bikes. No shops etc. between Carcassonne and Trebes though.
Cafe/Bar for lunch. Basic but OK (and open!)

If heading towards the airport try heading towards Perols instead of following our route
There is a better way than this route. Try following the cycle track to the east of the river rather than the main road as marked.
