The way points of this bicycle route:
This is the Blackwater Heritage Trail head. This a rail-trail that has a lot of stop signs in the first few miles.
Turn right onto Munson Hwy
Go straight here, but notice that Indian Ford takes off to the right - the Google road map is incorrect so use the Satellite view
Turn left onto Springhill Rd
Follow curve which makes a 90 degree right turn
Turn left onto Neal Kennington
Bike friendly store with water, gatoraid, snacks, etc.
Turn right onto 87 South
Turn right onto Southridge Rd and face a short steep climb
Follw curve but there is usually sand in the curve
At stop sign, turn right onto Calvary Church Rd
Watch for the Madonna in the bathtub on right
Turn left onto 89 South. This road is smooth, has a good marked shoulder, and has light traffic.
Follow curve to left, watch for cars vearing off onto Birch St
Turn right onto 87 South. There is an official bike lane here.
The main road curves to the left - do not go that way! Stay straight in the bike lane which is next to one car lane.
Now you are on 89 South. Be looking for the next red light. You will turn left there.
You must leave the bike lane and move to the upcomming left turn lane at the traffic light
At traffic light, turn left onto Magnolia
Turn right onto Byrom
Beware of traffic comming from the Milton Community Center on your left
Turn left onto Park Ave
Go straight to cross Stewart St.
Turn right onto rail-trail
Be sure to drop in at Truly Spokin Bicycle shop across the street from the trail head
