Note: This route is roughly 38 miles by bike... and 11 miles by Light Rail (Downtown Minneapolis back to Bloomington) Now at end of Burnsville Parkway

Eagan

Cross under bridge on dirt path... left turn after bridge onto Big River Bike Path

Mendota

Axel's... good food... restrooms.

Mendota Bridge Crossing

Fort Snelling

Minehaha Falls

Lake Nokomis

Lake Harriet

Harriet Pavilion... Water, food, restrooms

Lake Calhoun

Sharp Right... onto Greenway Ramp

Greenway Bike Trail

Left here

Kenilworth Trail

Minneapolis

Trail End

Left onto Bike Path

Light Rail to Bloomington

Hop on Light Rail here... $1.50 Train has bike racks (inside) Take train to one stop before Mall of America... roughly 11 miles. Or... straight ahead to Hennepin Ave... Left on Hennepin to bike ramp just before bridge... Down bridhe ramp to West River Road... Take River Road... and River Road Bike path back to Minnehaha Falls... etc...

Bloomington

Exit LRT at 28th St station... Right turn (North) on 28th St Wide sidewalk/Bike path

Interstate 494 Bridge Crossing

Bike path to bridge crossing... smooth, safe, wide

Eagan

Right turn... down bike ramp

180 turn on bike ramp

Right turn.. onto dirt path.. back under bridge... then on the other side of the bridge.. get off the dirt path and onto the shouldr of the road... wide safe here... tapers to nothing up ahead... so shift to the other side of the highway... when you can.

Burnsville

Back on Burnsville Parkway
