The way points of this bicycle route:
Meet by the park, tonnes of street parking
sneak through the woods here, there's a sidewalk there for a weird reason.
right onto still creek
get onto the path on the north side of the road
path turns into gravel for a few hundred yards, but sneaks through to the road on the far side (past the costco, and through an industrial area)
right onto low traffic streets
use the bike shoulder for a few hundred yards, then exit on the ramp descending
exit on ramp descending to winston st
great bike shoulder and rolling hills
left at lights, up the hill
turn left to use path
path crosses on north side
path on west side is great for road cycling even
stick to path
can follow path here, but easier to get onto the road
right onto the street with the "cyclist" sign
bike lane on highway is awesome, get some good speed down the hill and enjoy the view
can go through park on paths if you prefer
road continues through mining area
road eventually ends at last mining area's gate, just past the salmon hatchery, time to go back
follow out pipeline until it ends
bike lane starts again
cross highway at crossing here
a few feet on the transcanada trail
turn right just before the park, it avoids a climb up to the 4 way stop that is a bit awkward
remember the 4 way stop
one last big hill climb coming up
remember to breath
