The way points of this bicycle route:

Burnaby

Meet by the park, tonnes of street parking

sneak through the woods here, there's a sidewalk there for a weird reason.

right onto still creek

get onto the path on the north side of the road

path turns into gravel for a few hundred yards, but sneaks through to the road on the far side (past the costco, and through an industrial area)

right onto low traffic streets

use the bike shoulder for a few hundred yards, then exit on the ramp descending

exit on ramp descending to winston st

great bike shoulder and rolling hills

left at lights, up the hill

turn left to use path

path crosses on north side

path on west side is great for road cycling even

stick to path

can follow path here, but easier to get onto the road

right onto the street with the "cyclist" sign

bike lane on highway is awesome, get some good speed down the hill and enjoy the view

can go through park on paths if you prefer

road continues through mining area

road eventually ends at last mining area's gate, just past the salmon hatchery, time to go back

follow out pipeline until it ends

bike lane starts again

cross highway at crossing here

a few feet on the transcanada trail

turn right just before the park, it avoids a climb up to the 4 way stop that is a bit awkward

remember the 4 way stop

one last big hill climb coming up

remember to breath
