Start at Ballan station, end at Bacchus Marsh Station. Watch that C141 route with the trucks and buses (quite courteous but a narrow road). Almost 80% of the road through the ranges is paved except notably for one steep decent that is unpaved and bumpy. Very little forest traffic. by bon_
