Hamilton, MA

Hamilton/Wenham commuter rail station on the Newburyport/Ipswich line out of North Station.

Take right on Bridge St.

Take Right on Woodbury St.

Cross Essex St. onto Rt. 22 South.

Wenham, MA

Take left onto Grapevine Rd.

Gordon College, Wenham

Cross over Rt. 128

Beverly, MA

Take left (north) on Rt. 127

Manchester, MA

Manchester Center, many places to grab coffee

Manchester commuter rail from Boston on the Gloucester/Rockport line.

Singing Beach, Manchesrer, MA

Return to Manchester Center from Singing Beach, take right on School St.

Cross over Rt. 128

School St. becomes Southern Ave. at the Essex line.

Essex, MA

Junction of Southern Ave. and Rt. 133. Take left (west) on Rt. 133.

Stay right for Rt. 133 (west) towards Ipswich

Rt. 133 is wide, very flat, can be very windy.

Ipswich, MA

Take right onto Northgate Rd.

Take right onto Argilla Rd.

Ipswich

Russell Orchards, a great place to stop, eat apples, take photographs. Very crowded weekends in October.

Fox Creek, very pretty

A bit of a hill

Crane Estate, Trustees of the Reservation

Cranes Beach. Head back on Argillla Rd. next stop Ipswich Center.

Argilla Rd.

Ipswich

Ipswich Green, junction with Rt. 133 and Rt 1A. This is a pretty busy section of road. Take right onto Rt. 133/1A. and curve to the left with traffic.

Lots of traffic in the fall, especially on weekends.

Ipswich, MA

This stretch of road can have potholes and cars parked with frequent doors opening.

Ipswich Center, bear left on Market St. This intersection can be tricky. Get behind a car that's turning left and flow with the traffic.

Zumi's Coffee! Great place to stop for liquids. Nice deck out back in the sun.

Heading away from Ipswich on Topsfield Rd.

Road is pretty wide with slight hills.

Take left on Winthrop St. (hard packed gravel). Pretty fields, frequent wildlfe and due to road conditions, slow.

Hamilton, MA

Take right onto Highland St.

Bradley Palmer State Park. An optional quick ride thru the park can be nice and scenic.

Take left on Asbury St.

Intersection of Asbury St. and Rt. 1A. Take right on Rt. 1A.

End of trip, Hamilton/Wenham commuter rail station on the Newburypot/Ipswich line out of North Station.
