Route Details

A good long ride with a steep climb. Requires both road and unpaved trail riding (a hardtail mountain bike with slick-centered tires is appropriate). Ride from Seattle into Enumclaw on paved trails and rural roads, climb 410 to Greenwater, and take the 70 road to Naches Pass(rough unpaved wagon trail). The unpaved portion of the 70 road past the snow park is the steepest climb on the ride. Ride logging roads down to 410 on the Eastside and head to the campground at bumping lake. Get a map at the ranger station in Enumclaw to help navigate the logging roads across the pass, or just skip Naches and stay on the unpaved 70 road (just stay on the main road all the way up and it will become 19 on the east side)
