The way points of this bicycle route:
This is the West (ish) end of the Porter Rockwell Center (large 1-story white buildings). Start here and then just hop on the Frontage Rd.
This is a pretty crappy road. There are also big trucks, but since a lot of bikers ride this, they're used to watching out. Just stay to the side and watch for potholes.
There is the Jordan Parkway Trail here you hop on. It's nicely paved, mostly flat with gentle hills. The only drawback is the bugs. Watch out for walkers and even horses.
This is another busy road. Be Careful, but if traffic slows for you both ways then cross. On the North side, there is kind of a camp ground. You mostly go straight but may have to hunt a little for the trail since the bridge to it got washed out and is now under construction.
Watch out for golf carts here
It's hard to see on the map, but right around here, the trail crosses the river and you start climbing. You'll climb up to the windmills and it's flat for a short bit.
The trail disappears for 20 yrds or so where it was washed out. You come to the end of a small flat stretch and you hike down a little hill and back onto the paved trail, then to the road to climb again.
This is a busy road and bikers have died on this road. Just make sure you stay in the shoulder and you should be fine. I've ridden it many times.
There's a deceptively difficult climb here. Stand on it at this steep little part and then sprint to finish, burning your legs.
