The way points of this bicycle route:

Berkswell

The first part of this route folows a cycle path to the A452, so its nice and quick

A452

Unfortuantely the route joins with the A452 for a while - it is only short though.

Wootton Lane

This is a nice quiet road that takes us into Barston

Barston

Once you reach Barston, turn left down Hob Lane ( thats unless you get temted by the pub ).

B4101

On the B4101, take a right and head towards Knowle.

Knowle

Once you enter Knowle take a left down Wilsons road before taking a left and then an immediate right onto station road - the run to Dorridge is flat initially, then after a roundabout the gradient increases in your favour to carry you to Dorridge.

Dorridge

Theres a nice fish and chip shop opposite the train station here. Follow the B4101 and it'll take you to Hockley Heath

Hockley Heath

In hockley Heath, take a left onto the A3400, and just after the shops there is a right onto Spring lane, shortly after the second pub. Follow spring lane, and where it bends to teh left, go straight on up Cut throat Lane, and over the M42. Continue following the road until you reach a small shop just before the B4102

Earlswood

Theres a small shop at the end of umberslade Road before The Junction with the B4102. Crossing the B4102, keep to the left and follow the road over the middle of the reservoir. Follow the road till you hit a T junction then turn left. The road goes over the motorway and towards Wood End.

Wood End

PoolHead Lane joins with the B4101 again, where we turn right. Theres another right turn a little bit later that takes you onto Penn Lane.

Portway

Penn Lane crosses over the A435. It then seems to turn off to the left, but ignore that, continue to the junction and dogleg ( turn left then immediately right ) onto Whitepits Lane.
