The way points of this bicycle route:
(This route is part of a tour. See 'Comments' tag for details). Starting at Bents Basin State Recreation Area camping ground.
Turn left into Wolstenholme Ave.
At the end of Wolstenholme, turn right into Greendale Rd.
(As road turns corner, it becomes Bringelly Rd).
(Signalised intersection with The Northern Rd. Small shopping centre on right. Some of the next section hasn't got much of a shoulder, and carries some traffic).
Turn left into Church St (Slightly shorter alternative is to continue along Bringelly Rd).
Turn right into Rossmore Ave. (Historic church just before corner)
(Barrier across road, but bikes can get through. Road a bit rough on other side).
Turn right into Glen Allan Rd.
Turn left into Bringelly Rd.
Turn left into Fourth Ave (First left after crossing Kemps Ck).
Turn right into Tenth Ave
(Small shopping centre. Oasis take-away has home-made rocky road...)
(Road becomes Twenty Ninth Ave as it turns the corner)
Turn right onto one-lane bridge which crosses the Water Supply Channel.
Turn left onto Thirty Second Ave. (This road forms part of the Western Sydney Parklands Trail).
(Fifteenth Ave crossing. Caution : dangerous intersection. Pedestrian/bike crossing a short distance along Fifteenth Ave, near small shopping centre).
(As of Nov 2007, the gates at the end of Twenty Seventh Ave leading onto the continuation of the Parklands Trail are locked. For now, turn right into Sixteenth Ave East, then first left at Second Ave, Cross Seventeenth Ave East, then turn right McIver Ave. Turn left onto the M7 shared path).
Veer left onto the Parklands trail (if the gate is open. If not, go back to Sixteenth Ave E)
(Cross M7 on overbridge)
Turn left onto M7 shared path. Stay on path to Rooty Hill (just before crossing Railway line).

(Crossing of Elizabeth Dr. Bellbirds on right after crossing).
(End of the climbing for now)
(Saxony Rd crossing - Turn off for Sugarloaf Ridge lookout/picnic area/toilets. Turn right and up the hill after passing through gates for Western Sydney Regional Park).
(Water fountain).
(Lighthorse Interchange - crossing of M4 motorway).
(Crossing Great Western Hwy)
(Eastern Rd underpass).
Turn left onto ramp just before crossing the railway line. This becomes Mavis St.
Turn right onto Rooty Hill Rd Sth and follow to Railway Station.
