From carpark, L along trail.

Highton

Cross Queens Park drive to get onto the trail again.

Continue along pedestrian trail. Option cross foot bridge and head back on the other side of the river (saves 2km).

R over footbridge. Straight is the River Red Gum walk

Fyansford

R over footbridge

R at T-intersection of paths in Fyansford Common

Through car park up road

R onto trail

Cross Deviation road

Follow path on R side of Hyland street

Steep

Cross McCurdy road

Herne Hill

Cross Railway line & L onto path

Hamlyn Heights

Cross Church street

Switch over to the other side of the Railway

North Geelong

Cross Ballarat road & switch sides of Railway

Bell Park

North Geelong

Cross Thompson road

Cross Douro street

L along path

Cross Railway line

R along Separation street

L onto path over Princes highway bridge

Cross off ramp

L cross intersection at pedestrian lights and follow Mackey street footpath

R into Jetty access road

Bike path starts at jetty

Follow waters edge around car park

Straight into Cuff street

Rippleside

First L into Balmoral cr

L into Rippleside Park carpark road

R into carpark and onto start of Bay trail

L along trail

Drumcondra

Boardwalk option on L

Geelong

L along foreshore

Past Cunningham pier

R at Mariner

L along path

L and follow foreshore path

Veer R around road turn-circle & up path

L cross into Swanston street & follow all the way to Barwon river

South Geelong

Cross railway

L onto Barwon River trail

Under railway bridge

R over Breakwater road bridge

Belmont

R and follow trail between Golf course & Motocross club

L at river bank

Through car park to trail on other side

Under Barwon bridge (High street)

Under Princes highway (Settlement road) bridge

Under Macintyre footbridge (which goes to other side of river)

Under Shannon avenue bridge

Back to car park
