The way points of this bicycle route:
Start at Bargo Hotel/Railway Station. Head south along Great Southern Rd. (This route forms part of a multi-day tour. See Comments link for details).
Turn right to cross over railway line.
Turn right onto Remembrance Dr for a short distance.
Turn left onto Tylers Rd (Sports Ground on corner).
Follow main alignment of road around to the left. This is now Silica Rd.
Follow bitumen road around to the right - Carlisle St.
Take the first turn on the left - Chandos Rd.
At the end of Chandos Rd, turn right, back into Remembrance Drive.
(Small park on the corner of Remembrance Drive & Everest St. No shelter or toilets. General store and railway station a short distance further along Remembrance Dr).
(Start of Catherine Hill after passing under railway line bridge).
Turn left into Old South Rd, a few hundred metres after reaching the top of Catherine Hill.
(Bong Bong Rd intersection. Turn right to detour into Mittagong, otherwise straight ahead. Start of a GOOD climb! Short flat section part of the way up.)
(Top of this hill. (Bit more climbing to go a few 100 metres up the road). Small monument on RHS of rd).
(Range Rd roundabout. Continue Straight ahead).
(Start of good downhill run)
Veer right at roundabout - Signposted to Moss Vale. (Shared path starts on other side of roundabout, and runs parrallel to Old South Rd for 1.6 km).
(Go straight through roundabout).
(Roundabout with Kangaloon Rd. Shared path turns to the left and follows Kangaloon Rd, so if using the path, get back onto the road here and proceed straight through roundabout. Road becomes Eridge Park Rd).
At the end of Eridge Park Rd, turn left into The Highlands Way.
Veer left onto the shared path just before the river. Follow around under the road, and turn right onto the path that comes up on the western side of the The Highlands Way and crosses the river. (Also entrance to Cecil Hoskins Nature Reserve with picnic & toilet facilities; Site of first township in Southern Highlands).
Follow shared path around to the right alongside Sutton Rd. At present, shared path doesn't go for the length of Sutton Rd. Continue on road.
After crossing railway line, at the first roundabout turn right into Argyle St.
(Entrance to Moss Vale Railway Station on right; Shops etc along here too).
Just before passing under railway bridge, turn left into Authur St.
Follow main alignment of the road around to the right - Throsby St. This later becomes Yerrawa Rd.
Follow main alignment of road around to the right, and up a steep pinch. - Mount Broughton Rd,
At the end of the road, turn right into Werai Rd.
(General store on other side of railway line, railway station).
Turn left into Bundanoon Rd/Railway Ave.
(YHA on left)
(Main part of town - Shops, Railway Station, Hotel on other side of railway line). Follow Rd around to the right - Church St.
Turn right into Anzac Pde - Signposted to Goulburn. (Gambells Rest Camping area straight ahead, down the hill, toilets 100m to the left).
Turn left into Penrose Rd (Signposted to Goulburn).
(Teudts Rd on left - Sunnataram Buddhist monestary ~2km. Worth a look!)
(Railway station and shop).
(Railway Station & shop. Public toilet in park behind hall).
(Railway station & shop).
Turn left onto the Hume Hwy shoulder for a short distance.
Take the Marulan Exit off the highway.
Turn left into George St to go into main part of town, or straight ahead for a couple of blocks to Recreation Reserve (on left).
Terminus Hotel on Cnr of George and Thoroughfare Sts. Railway Station and a few shops nearby.
