I don't recommend doing this route during the beach season as the section 'down the shore' requires you ride along busy boardwalk roads with diagnal parking, wrong way cyclist and lot of people crossing the street everywhere.

Turn right onto the old rail way line. It's a rail-to-trail conversion. Use caution, very popular, make sure you call out before passing.
